1What SendTheCV Does

SendTheCV is a CV distribution platform. Its purpose is to distribute a user's CV and related professional information to employers, recruiters, HR professionals, talent acquisition professionals and other recruitment-related business contacts available in or selected from our database.

SendTheCV is not a job-search service. We do not promise to find vacancies for you, apply to specific vacancies on your behalf, make hiring decisions or guarantee any employment outcome.

Depending on the subscription selected, SendTheCV may allow you to connect your own email account so the platform can send CV distribution emails from that account and process replies connected with those distribution emails.

2What You Are Paying For

When you purchase a SendTheCV subscription, you are paying for the CV distribution service and the features shown for the plan you selected. This may include CV distribution, use of our employer and recruiter contact database for distribution, sending through your connected email account, and processing or displaying replies related to CV distribution.

Your subscription fee is for the distribution service. It is not a fee for a job, interview, shortlist, job offer or placement.

3No Job, Interview or Placement Guarantee

SendTheCV does not guarantee a recruiter or employer response, interview, shortlisting, job offer, employment or job placement.

Our responsibility is to provide the CV distribution service included in your subscription. Employers and recruiters decide independently whether to open your email, read your CV, contact you, interview you or offer you employment.

Not receiving a response, interview or job offer does not mean the CV distribution service was not provided.

4Employer and Recruiter Database

SendTheCV may maintain, license, access or use a database of employers, recruiters, HR professionals, talent acquisition professionals and other recruitment-related business contacts. The database is used for CV distribution.

Contact information can change. A person may change employer, role or email address, and a company may not be hiring when your CV is distributed. We do not guarantee that every contact is currently recruiting, has a suitable vacancy, remains with the same organization or will respond.

We may verify, update, replace or remove contacts. Your subscription does not transfer ownership of our database to you. You may not scrape, extract, copy, publish, sell or redistribute the database without our written permission.

5Your CV and Distribution Authorization

By activating a CV distribution service, you instruct and authorize SendTheCV to distribute your CV and the information contained in it to recruitment-related contacts as part of the service you purchased.

Your CV may contain your name, email address, telephone number, location, employment history, education, qualifications, skills, experience and other information you choose to include.

You are responsible for checking your CV before distribution. Do not include passwords, banking credentials or information that is not reasonably required for professional CV distribution.

6Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the CV and other information you provide. You must not use SendTheCV to distribute deliberately false, fraudulent, misleading or unlawful information.

SendTheCV is not responsible for consequences caused by inaccurate information supplied by you.

7Connecting Your Email Account

Some subscriptions may allow or require you to connect a supported email account, including Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft 365.

The connection is used to provide the CV distribution service through your email account and, where included in your plan, to identify and process replies to CV distribution emails.

Connecting an email account does not transfer ownership of the account or its content to SendTheCV.

8OAuth and User Authorization

Where supported, SendTheCV uses OAuth or another provider-approved authorization method. You will normally be redirected to Google, Microsoft or the relevant provider to sign in and review the permissions requested.

You decide whether to approve those permissions. SendTheCV will only request permissions that are reasonably necessary for the functionality being provided and will use the permissions only for the purposes disclosed in these Terms, our Privacy Policy and the consent flow.

9Email Permissions

Depending on the email provider and the features you activate, SendTheCV may request permission to authenticate your account, identify your email address, send CV distribution emails, create or manage drafts, read relevant messages or threads, receive and process replies, access sender and recipient details, access subject lines and message content where required, and access message identifiers, timestamps and thread information.

The exact permissions requested are shown by your email provider before you approve access. SendTheCV will not intentionally request broader access merely for possible future features.

10Sending Email Through Your Connected Account

When you activate CV distribution through a connected email account, you authorize SendTheCV to send CV distribution emails on your behalf. These messages may contain your CV, professional information, contact details and an accompanying distribution message.

Recipients may see the message as being sent directly from your connected email address. You authorize this because it is part of the CV distribution service you requested.

11Reading and Processing Replies

Where this feature is included in your subscription and you grant the required permission, SendTheCV may access and process replies connected with CV distribution emails sent through the platform.

This may include detecting a reply, identifying the sender, associating the reply with an earlier distribution email, reading relevant reply content, displaying the reply in your SendTheCV account and notifying you that a reply was received.

Connected email access is not permission for SendTheCV to use your mailbox for unrelated purposes.

12Google and Microsoft Account Data

If you connect a Google account, SendTheCV will use information received from Google APIs in accordance with the applicable Google API Services User Data Policy and Google Workspace API requirements. Our use of Google user data is limited to providing and maintaining the CV distribution and related email functionality you authorize.

If you connect a Microsoft account, SendTheCV will access Microsoft account or Microsoft Graph data only within the permissions you approve and only for the SendTheCV functionality you authorize.

13Human Access to Connected Email Data

SendTheCV does not give employees or contractors unrestricted access to connected mailboxes. Human access to email data is limited to situations where it is reasonably necessary and permitted, such as resolving a specific support request you make, investigating security or abuse, or complying with applicable law.

Where human access occurs, it is limited to the information needed for that purpose.

14Disconnecting or Revoking Access

You may disconnect a supported email account through SendTheCV where this option is available. You may also revoke SendTheCV's access through your Google, Microsoft or other email-provider account settings.

After authorization is revoked, SendTheCV will no longer be able to use that authorization to access the account. Features that depend on the connection may stop working.

Revoking access does not automatically delete information that SendTheCV is required or permitted to retain. Our Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion.

15Third-Party Email Providers

Google, Microsoft and other email providers operate independently from SendTheCV. Your email account remains subject to your provider's own terms, privacy rules, security requirements, APIs and sending limits.

A provider may change its API, OAuth requirements, permissions, authentication process, sending limits or security controls. Such changes may affect SendTheCV's ability to provide a connected-email feature.

16Email Sending Limits and Delivery

Your email provider may limit the number or frequency of emails that can be sent. SendTheCV cannot override provider-imposed limits.

Sending an email does not guarantee inbox delivery. Messages may be delayed, bounced, rejected, blocked or placed in spam or junk because of recipient systems, spam filters, invalid addresses, sender reputation, provider rules or other technical factors.

SendTheCV does not guarantee inbox placement, email opening, CV opening or recipient response.

17Responsible Use

You must use SendTheCV and any connected email account lawfully. You must not use the platform to send fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, malicious or unlawful communications, or to bypass provider sending limits, spam controls or security restrictions.

You may only connect an email account that belongs to you or that you are authorized to use. You must not connect another person's or organization's account without permission.

We may restrict or suspend functionality where reasonably necessary to prevent misuse, protect users or comply with provider requirements or applicable law.

18Subscription Plans and Recurring Billing

The price, billing period, CV distribution limits and included features for a paid plan will be shown before purchase. You are responsible for reviewing the selected plan before payment.

If a plan renews automatically, the renewal terms and billing period will be shown before purchase. By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable subscription charge according to that billing cycle until you cancel.

Cancellation stops future renewal. It does not normally reverse services already provided or refund a subscription period that has already started, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

19Payments

You agree to pay the price shown for the subscription you select. Applicable taxes may be added where required.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Where payment information is collected directly by a payment provider, SendTheCV may not receive or store your complete payment-card details.

20Refund Policy

SendTheCV provides a digital CV distribution service that may start shortly after payment. Once processing or CV distribution has started, payments are generally non-refundable.

A refund is not due simply because no recruiter or employer responds, you do not receive an interview, you are not shortlisted, you do not receive a job offer, you do not obtain employment, a recipient does not open your email or CV, or an email is bounced, rejected or filtered as spam or junk.

A refund may be considered where SendTheCV cannot provide the purchased service, a duplicate payment was processed, an incorrect amount was charged, or a refund is required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

21Connected Email Account and Refunds

If a feature depends on your connected email account and you disconnect it, revoke required permissions, lose access to it or otherwise prevent SendTheCV from performing the service, this does not normally create a right to a refund.

The same applies where Google, Microsoft or another provider independently restricts, suspends or limits your account, subject to applicable law.

22Communications From Recipients

Employers and recruiters may contact you directly after receiving your CV. Any later communication, interview, negotiation, job offer or employment arrangement is between you and that recipient.

You are responsible for checking the identity and legitimacy of any person or organization that contacts you. SendTheCV is not responsible for hiring decisions, promises or representations independently made by recipients.

23Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your SendTheCV login credentials secure. If you believe your SendTheCV account or connected email account has been compromised, change the relevant credentials, revoke affected permissions where appropriate and contact us.

24Service Availability

SendTheCV may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, internet outages, third-party provider outages, API changes, security issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

25Third-Party Services

SendTheCV may use third-party providers for email connectivity, authentication, cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, security, customer support and other technical functions. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

26Intellectual Property

The SendTheCV name, website, software, technology, database, design, branding and original content belong to SendTheCV, DW Talent Services FZE or their licensors unless stated otherwise.

You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, sell, redistribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit our proprietary materials without permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

27Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, non-payment, security risks, unlawful activity, violation of these Terms or requirements imposed by an integrated service provider.

28Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SendTheCV's responsibility is limited to providing the CV distribution service and related features included in the subscription you purchased.

We are not responsible for independent hiring decisions made by employers or recruiters, or merely because you do not receive a reply, interview, shortlist, job offer or employment.

We are also not responsible for restrictions or failures independently caused by email providers, recipient email systems or other third-party infrastructure outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

29Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how SendTheCV collects, accesses, uses, stores, shares, protects, retains and deletes personal information, including CV information and data processed through connected Google or Microsoft accounts.

You should read the Privacy Policy before connecting an email account.

30Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms when our CV distribution service, integrations, provider requirements, business practices or legal requirements change.

The current version will be published on SendTheCV.com with its effective date. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.

31Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and the rules and regulations applicable to DW Talent Services FZE as a Free Zone Establishment licensed by Sharjah Publishing City – Free Zone Authority.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts or authorities with jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights that apply under law.
